Director, Multicultural Student Center for Equity and Justice

she/her/hers

Hello Roadrunners! I am excited for the potential of connecting with you! I started working at UTSA in spring 2020 as the Director of the Multicultural Student Center for Equity and Justice (MSCEJ). In MSCEJ we work with student organizations and departments on and off campus to advocate for equity and justice for marginalized communities (people of color, LGBTQ+ communities, Dreamers, and many more). I identify as a lesbian and I have been married to my wife for 11 years. We have a wonderful daughter who is two and is a ball of fun! I came out in undergrad and found college to be the place where I was able to fully embrace and celebrate my identities and would love to be a support for students in their journeys.
