I have been working in higher education since 2012. I was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2018 to pursue my Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. I am currently working on my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and in the Registrar Office with the Graduation Coordination Office. My Bachelor’s degree is in Psychology with a double minor in Communication and Music Industry. I first became involved in LGBTQ+ activism when I joined the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) in high school. I identify as a Queer educational researcher with a special interest in Trans* inclusion, retention, and success.
